Course Overview

The next level of certification is the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, for which a pre-requisite is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and it is mandatory. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program is an advanced level that trains individuals and organizations in tools and techniques to improve the logistical flow of different processes. This level also aims to ensure a reliable and valid performance measurement system. Our course is designed for individuals/professionals who are aiming to be experts in Lean Six Sigma certification. The Black Belt is best suitable for program managers who are responsible for supporting teams with techniques and for those who are required to manage complex projects.

We aim towards delivering a clear understanding of performing organization-wise planning and management, implementing new best practices and processes to follow Six Sigma, handling team management, DMAIC methodology etc.

Six Sigma Black Belt course delivers a broad understanding of Six Sigma principles, including supporting systems and tools & techniques. Certified Six Sigma Black Belts understand all aspects of the DMAIC methodology aligned to Six Sigma principles. Six Sigma Black Belt professionals are able to figure out non-value-added activities and can use specific tools to reduce them. They act as a change agent in transformational six sigma projects. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is the highest level of certification in Six Sigma field.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam & Certification

Should be Green Belt certified OR 3-5 years of work experience in any field OR Basic knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma tools is required. Delegates must also complete a Lean Six Sigma project within 6 months of completing the training program. The project needs to adequately test their knowledge and application of the Lean Six Sigma methodology and relevant tools. Black Belt projects are more demanding hence the project should demonstrate and represent significant improvement & benefits (please discuss your proposed project with your course instructor). After completing the project the delegates are expected to submit the project for a review, of which an Independent assessment will be done to ensure that the required objectives are met and the definitive benefits and improvements have been derived from the project.
