Who This Course is for?
Those who have the experience
required to meet the eligibility standards of the Project Management Institute
are eligible to enroll in this Advanced-level course. According to the Project
Management Institute, all applicants for the PgMP® exam must possess:
6,000 hours or more of project management expertise spread across at least 4
years
You will also require four years (6,000 hours) of program management experience
if you hold a bachelor's degree.
However, the Program Management requirement increases to seven years (10,500
hours) if you do not hold a bachelor's degree.
It is highly advised that you earn a PMP accreditation prior to beginning the
PgMP course. PMP® exam candidates are well-versed in many of the common tools
and methods included in the Standard for Program Management. If you are
familiar with these, you will find it much easier.
